My name is Sarah Silver and I'm a qualified Angelic Reiki Master Therapist and Teacher, who was born in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, in 1972. 

I have always been fascinated by the esoteric, spiritualism and alternative healing methods, even as a young child.  In fact, I could frequently be found devouring library books on these subjects from the age of eight. Even back then, I could feel energies and had many premonitions in the form of dreams, out-of-body experiences and messages from the spirit world.

Like many healers, my path has been a rocky and winding one. My mother lost custody of my brother and I when I was five; my parents divorced; I was fostered for two years, then adopted, and had to leave home at sixteen with no safety net. I had my heart set on going to university but ended up wading through a string of low-paid jobs and hardships, which caused me to become deeply depressed and at times even suicidal. So my journey to where I am now was by no means easy and, although they were never far from my mind, I spent many years resisting or trying to ignore my psychic abilities and spiritual interests.

Shortly after I left home, I started studying Runic divination, the I Ching, meditation, Shiatsu, herbalism, NLP, counselling, astral projection and other esoteric subjects in my free time, but it wasn’t really until my late twenties that I truly started on the spiritual path. As is often the case with people with an unsettled past, I became chronically ill for several years and finding very little success with traditional medicine, I decided to go for a more holistic approach. I lived in Italy at the time - that's another long story! - and a friend recommended a very good doctor who was a holistic therapist, nutritionist and homoeopath.

This is where I first encountered Reiki healing as a recipient and, quite frankly, I don’t think I would still be here today if it wasn’t for the kindness and support of this incredible doctor. However, despite this – and even though spirit kept prompting me in so many ways through visions, dreams and even physical manifestations – I still ignored my spiritual side. That is, until a few years ago...

After going through another phase of ill-health and yet another painful and abusive relationship, I realised that something had to be done. It was time for me to start loving myself, focus on my spiritual development and put my own needs first – a hard thing to do for an incurable empath with a burning desire to save everyone, I can tell you!

With the help of some wonderful healers, mediums, spirit guides and spiritually-minded people, I went on a path of self[re]-discovery, where I began to develop my psychic abilities and started to attend various mediumship, shamanic, past life healing, Usui Reiki, meditation, mindfulness and Angelic Reiki courses and workshops.

This journey is by no means over – for it’s endless – but it has been a profoundly life-changing and enriching experience. Now my wish is to follow this calling and offer a helping hand to others on their path to find self-love, inner peace, and healing.
